The future of LDS is bright: a new plastic abruptly multiplies the design options for LDS components. At the industry’s Chinaplas expo plastics manufacturer Sabic introduced a white LDS plastic.
 
With the new Sabic product the LDS method now also becomes interesting for visible element such as cell phones. The product innovation is a big step forward in advancing LDS technology since a colored substrate adds countless options in production design.

The technical requirements of the new PC/ABS plastic don’t differ from black material, and it also offers outstanding surface properties.

In addition to Sabic our partner Mitsubishi Engineering-Plastics Corporation (MEP) also announced a new LDS thermoplastic to produce in any color.
