The executive board and research advisory council at the research society 3-D MID e.V. assembled for a regular meeting at LPKF Laser & Electronics AG in Garbsen early July. Several new research projects were determined:
 
using own funding, 3-D MID in collaboration with the University of Hannover will be supporting a project for advancing LDS-capable materials for HF antennas in the automotive sector. BMW, Mitsubishi as well as plastics manufacturer DSM were already won over as project members from the industry. Other topics were the general development of research associations and preparations for the MID congress.
