New electroless plating line: an invitation from LaserMicronics

September 2010
The middle of this year LaserMicronics GmbH moved into a new production building in close vicinity to the LPKF Laser & Electronics AG headquarters in Garbsen. Their new gem is the electroless plating line designed for the LDS method.

It consists of 27 separate baths and is used for commercially coating medium to large volumes of LDS components. Potential users may use the electroless plating facility as a demonstration and training environment. Prospective customers are invited to learn about process parameters for solid electroless plating of LDS components on site by appointment.

The laser specialist provides project-related consulting services and is a made-to-order manufacturer of prototypes, low and medium volume production. The company offers latest generation laser systems as well as an outstanding lab featuring the latest metrology.

Over the past two years the number of employees grew from twelve to 20 as a result of a consistently good ordering positing, Lars Ederleh, CEO of LaserMicronics, states as a reason for the move.
