The VDI Wissensforum held a two day seminar on “Plastics in mechatronics” on June 8th and 9th. During this technology convention new methods for the integration of mechatronics functions in thermoplastic components were introduced. Experts from the field and research discussed the perspectives of new composite materials and manufacturing technologies.
 
The event ended with a 45 minute presentation by LPKF Laser & Electronics AG. Nils Heininger spoke on „Laser-based manufacturing of multi-functional packages using the example of innovative micro speed sensors“.
