2E mechatronic presented the latest developments in inclination angle sensors for automotive applications. Dirk Bäcker from LPKF Laser & Electronics AG gave a paper on “Efficient structuring of complex three-dimensional MIDs with the new LPKF Fusion3D”. Bäcker emphasized that this new laser system should be given serious consideration by anyone planning the production of large numbers of high quality MID components. With up to four laser heads, almost any LDS component can be precisely structured on all sides without wasting any time repositioning the component. Fusion3D laser systems slash processing times during structuring by up to 75 per cent.
