From October 16 to 23, 2013, the K 2013 plastics trade fair will take place in Düsseldorf. Organized every three years, it is the most significant trade fair worldwide for plastic and rubber – and due to its unique features (nearly 170,000 square meters of net exhibition space, over 3,000 exhibitors from over 50 countries and over 200,000 visitors) it is regarded as the leading trade fair of the industry worldwide.LPKF will also be there again.
 
The laser welding department will have its own stand with its partner and LDS-MID service provider LaserMicronics GmbH (hall 11, E04). In addition the partners Sabic (hall 6, D42) and Ticona GmbH (hall 6, A/B07) will present the production process with the LPKF Fusion3D 1100 laser structurer. And on the basis of live demonstrations interested visitors at the LPKF stand of LaserMicronics can get an exact picture of the prototyping process.

The K 2013 is the preferred market platform for information, innovations and investments – with the complete world market for the plastics and rubber industry in one place.

On October 9, 2013, the “Innovative Application of MID Technology” workshop will take place in Stuttgart. The presentation program deals with the topics of LDS technology, new processes for 3-D molded interconnect devices, applications, products and manufacturing technologies.

The MID workshop is organized by the HSG-IMAT, together with the Baden-Württemberg Ministry for Finance and Economy and is open to all who are interested in the latest information from the industry on serial production of MIDs and the technological trends in the development of 3-D molded interconnect devices.
