On June 19, 2013, the FAPS TT workshop, “3-D MID Applications: Design – Production – Reliability”, will take place in Nuremberg. The specialized talks address all aspects of the 3-D MID process chain and provide a comprehensive overview of the development and current state of the technology.
 
Altogether, the event offers an extensive information transfer with its talks, specialized discussions and demonstrations in the laboratories. Experts from industry report on their experiences with MID technology in series production and in implementing product ideas. LPKF Laser & Electronics will also participate in this workshop. Malte Fengler, Consultant Setup & Application LDS Equipment, will report on the LDS-MID product development process. Other talks deal with 3-D-MID-related questions in OLED technology, 3-D antenna systems for automotive technology and plug connectors on the basis of thermoplastic materials.
