LDS Innovation Workshop at LED Industry Gathering

The workshop will be carried out within the framework of the 3rd International LED professional Symposium + Expo (LpS) (Source: Luger Research)
The requirements for LED solutions demand constant technological innovations and especially well-coordinated subsystems in electronics, optics and heat management. Thus in contrast to conventional, heavily restrictive circuit boards, laser direct structuring (LDS) facilitates direct placement of LEDs on cooling elements of any shape in a space-saving and flexible manner. Particularly in the case of heat discharge, the LDS process from LPKF offers good possibilities – this is illustrated by a light bulb as a demonstration object, which is equipped with LEDs thanks to a special LDS powder coating for metal surfaces.
The workshop will be carried out jointly by LPKF and Essemtec within the framework of the 3rd International LED professional Symposium + Expo (LpS). The Symposium is regarded all over Europe as one of the leading LED/OLED lighting technology events and is well-attended by experts in industry and research.
