In June 2013, a new LDS paint will be coming onto the market. The dual-component paint is suitable for serial production and can be applied to conventional plastic components that are not LDS-capable.
 
The MID developer can therefore choose to use his/her own plastics as well as LDS plastics. This increases flexibility when special material characteristics and colors are required that are not covered by the plastics in the LDS portfolio.

The initial volumes are produced in Dormagen, Germany, so as to ensure a flawless production process. Later, production is carried out at Becker Industrial Coatings plants in Asia and the USA.
