PEP’s Innovation Day: LDS is established in France

January 2013
The Pôle Européen de Plasturgie (PEP) has organized its second ‘Innov Day’. The well-visited forum for the MID industry took place on December 6 at the PEP Technological Competence Center in Bellignat (eastern France).

With 110 participants this time, the gathering of experts is enjoying growing popularity. In particular, the topic of LDS met with great interest. Thus various MID technologies, the current state of the technology and future trends were presented and discussed. The event is increasingly becoming an important pace-setter for French companies.

Established industry players such as PEP, HSG-IMAT, ATP, NIEF Plastic Group, FAPS, Häcker Automation, Mind, Radiall, ARaymond, cicor and Kromberg & Schubert were presented at the PEP’s Innov Day with their own stand and demonstrated the latest applications or gave specialized talks.

Laser direct structuring, it turned out, is also establishing itself more and more in France, as can be seen in specific LDS projects such as for production of RFID tags.
