Dr. Wolfgang John, former LDS Senior Consultant at LPKF, has retired after decades of dedication to the development of new LDS processes and applications. He made a major contribution to the breakthrough of LDS technology and is considered to be one of the leading developers in this field.
 
Dr. John devoted himself to the issues and research projects of the Research Association 3-D MID e.V. and later became a board member. Dr. John was succeeded by Dr. Robin Krüger (LPKF) on the Research Advisory Board of the Research Association Molded Interconnect Devices 3-D MID e.V.in 2012.

Dr. Roman Ostholt, head of the new Technology Management and Process Development department, has taken over Dr. John’s LDS development tasks.
