There are three events between October and December for those interested in MID to learn new things, expand their knowledge or make contacts. It starts off with the Cicor Symposium and the ΣYSTEMS INTEGRATION in Germany and Switzerland, followed by PEP's Innov' Day in France.
 
On Thursday, October 18, the Swiss electronics company Cicor is offering a 3D-MID-symposium in Stuttgart. Topic: “Use of 3-D MID technology in practice.” The event is geared towards interested parties from the research, development, design and purchasing fields. Wolfgang John, Senior LDS Consultant at LPKF, will be there as a guest speaker.

Also on October 18, the professional association IVAM and HARTING AG Mitronics will be at the ΣYSTEMS INTEGRATION symposium in Biel, Switzerland. The event has as its main topic “Medical technology – from the idea to the component and the product.” The focus is supposed to be on the three areas of product development, manufacturing processes and qualification for medical technology and precision mechanics.

Save the date:The “Innov’ Day” takes place on December 6 in Bellignat, France. The organizer is PEP, the Pôle Européen de Plasturgie. The PEP center of technological excellence is involved in research and development in the area of plastic molding and is also active as a service provider.
