As a Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment (SME) Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling activities for SME development projects. As a successful candidate, you will support the team with cost estimates, maintaining and monitoring schedules, identifying schedule and cost impacts, and developing recovery plans. You will lead and oversee internal organizational and administrative activities to create necessary infrastructure and implement necessary processes. You summarize the status of the project in presentations and present them to the project management and the customer. In summary, you identify, analyze, and provide innovative solutions to problems, for managing projects in arguably one of the most challenging and interesting industries. Your Tasks:

  • Effectively engages with key stakeholders including system/engineering, process/application, facility management, EHS team to manage project goals, changes and control risks
  • Prepares project plan and coordinates the attainment of project deliverables from planning to implementation. Maintains matrix for process improvements
  • Drive project deliverables and task details by through the use of reports, tracking charts and, checklists
  • Aligns in cooperation with team leaders the activities of resources to achieve on-time and within budget and performance objectives for the project.
  • Monitors, and reports to the Product management Lead on project's cost performance
  • Investigates causes to project obstacles and assists in implementing solutions for resolution

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science/engineering field, such as Physics, chemistry, materials science, electrical engineering, and chemical engineering
  • Conceptual and practical expertise in project/program management
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of semiconductor equipment, process, or applications is a plus
  • Ability to communicate and present in German and English
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within the team and other related teams; works within broad guidelines and policies
  • Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus
