Quality control software for SMT stencils

LPKF ScanCheck inspects the quality of SMT stencils. The software produces an optical scan of the stencil using a conventional PC-Scanner (which is not part of the delivery), and compares it with the production data. Any discrepancies are graphically shown on screen. All of the test results are compiled in a report which is available for tracing to support seamless quality management.

LPKF StencilCheck is suited for a various number of application fields:

• Controlling cleanness after stencil cleaning or before starting production.
• Controlling stencil service lives by testing the influence of the squeegees and printing parameters on the SMT stencil.
• Accuracy check and certification by the stencil manufacturer.
• Generating stencil cutting data from PCB scans or the existing solder paste stencil.
• Tracing the quality of delivered solder paste stencils: copies of the scan can be archived.
