The quality of a screen printing stencil is critically dependent on the quality of the stainless steel used for its manufacture.

The best stencils use only the best steel.  This steel must excel in qualities such as surface finish, consistency of thickness, stress-free structure, composition and hardness.  Ideally, these properties should also be matched to the laser cutting process, assuring optimal results such as reduction of burrs, excellent surface finish, and overall smoothness.

LPKF StencilSteel is available in all standard thickness from 0.030 mm to 0.500 mm. Standard dimensions are 850 mm x 620 mm (33.5" x 24.4"), although custom dimensions are available.
