Advanced contour routing

LPKF CircuitCAM’s redesigned contour routing function greatly reduces tool wear when milling aluminum front panels with large holes or breakouts by producing a starter hole for the milling bit at the beginning of the cutting line. The starter hole has the same diameter as the cutting line.

Another new contour routing feature automates the insertion of breakout tabs into the board layout. The distance between breakouts can be customized, along with the gap width.
