Barely larger than a size A3 sheet of paper: the LPKF ProtoMat E33 is an economical and compact circuit board plotter for machining circuit boards without wet chemicals. This makes the system perfect for use in training or for limited budgets.

The LPKF ProtoMat E33 will structure single- or double-sided circuit boards, drilling holes for through-plating, cutting individual boards from the base material and can even engrave front plates for housings. The system is robust and intended for application areas where time is not particularly of the essence. And yet the LPKF ProtoMat E33 doesn’t need to shy away from having its structuring results compared to those of its big brothers.

Still the system is easy to use. The – included – software effectively supports users with the machining process.

33,000 rpm spindle speed

Like all ProtoMats each ProtoMat E33 is carefully calibrated at the LPKF factory. This ensures it will produce the finest structures in any common material. With a maximum travel speed of 60 mm per second (approx. 2”/s) and a spindle speed of 33,000 rpm the E33 is the perfect entry-level model for in-house prototyping.
