LPKF ProtoMat C40-The reliable system for circuit board prototype production


Nuremberg, June 2002 - LPKF is well known as a system supplier for the rapid and flexible production of circuit board prototypes using all standard technologies. Now, with the LPKF ProtoMat C40, LPKF has developed a circuit board plotter which combines the benefits of a multipurpose entry model with the addition of sophisticated features.

The adjustable EC motor (10,000 to 40,000 rpm) enables the production of line widths up to 100 µm and spaces of up to 200 µm with efficient tool use. Drill holes of 0.3 mm are standard.

The ProtoMat C40 is the logical further development of the well-tried and tested LPKF ProtoMat C30/s. It therefore naturally has standard applications such as the structuring, drilling and contour milling of circuit board materials, as well as the engraving of aluminium front plates. Another area of application of this multipurpose Rapid PCB Prototyping system is the multilayer production combined with the reliable LPKF through-plating systems Contac II and MiniContac II and the compact MultiPress II.
