Erlangen, 26 February 2008 – The new turnkey system LQ-Axis extends LPKF’s existing spectrum of standard laser plastic welding systems. The laser welding system is designed to specifically meet  the requirements of contour welding of 2D micro and macro-modules. Moreover, it can be well used for the patented hybrid welding technology.
 
All components are encased within the housing, with only compressed air and power connections required at the workplace. The system is also available with welding process presets.

The basic units can be upgraded using a wide range of options to meet customer-specific process needs. The range includes upgrading to hybrid welding as well as process monitoring and control equipment. An intelligent modular clamping concept enables the processing of virtually any number of different modules on the same system with only short conversion times.

LPKF Laser & Electronics AG Plastics Welding Division is tasked with the development, production and worldwide distribution of laser plastics welding machines.
