Garbsen, November 2007 – A new LPKF laser system increases the mass production throughput of three dimensional circuit carriers (3D-MIDs). Up to four laser scanners structure the components simultaneously from different angles. Machining the component in three dimensions in this way eliminates nonproductive time for workpiece repositioning. The working area accommodates two components to reduce idle time further during fully automatic workpiece loading and unloading.
LPKF thus skillfully fulfills the requirements of leading telecommunication and automotive technology manufacturers for fast and inexpensive mass-production solutions, which also benefit from the flexibility of tool-less production.
LPKF Laser & Electronics AG develops and distributes systems used in electronics production, the automotive industry, and in the manufacture of solar cells. Its export share is 80 per cent. The Group has approx. 300 employees worldwide.
