New boost to RFID prototype production
15/Nov/2006
Garbsen, November 2006 – The new LPKF ProtoLaser 200 laser system accelerates the production of prototype RFID antennae and small batch prototypes.
The ProtoLaser 200 replaces chemical and mechanical production methods, structuring circuits quickly and easily on such substrates as aluminum, copper coated PET films, etc. Designs can be quickly modified, with a great deal of flexibility, and produced and ready-for-testing in record time.
High precision, minimum cut channel widths of 25 µm and extremely accurate geometries exemplify the kind of performance expected from a ProtoLaser 200.
RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) uses transponders for the remote and automatic identification of objects or persons, and is becoming more popular in the transport and distribution industry, as well as the automotive sector.
