New lead free reflow oven
15/Nov/2005
Slovenien, November 2005 – LPKF are proud to introduce a new re-flow oven to their range of PCB assembly equipment. The new LPKF ProtoFlow oven, with lead free capability, has significant advantages over previous models and new features including a PC control software package. There are also four user positioned temperature sensors and a microprocessor controller which together regulate an even heat distribution over PCB’s up to 9 " x 12 " (228 x 305 mm).
Several user programmable zones between preheating and final re-flow enable the LPKF ProtoFlow to process all re-flow profiles up to 320 deg. C. The temperature profile measured by the four freely positioned sensors is displayed in real time on the PC. The re-flow process can also be observed through a large glass window assisting the operator to optimize the process parameters. Ideal for prototyping, technology research and pre-production runs the LPKF ProtoFlow is a high tech, user friendly, re-flow oven with many pre-programmed process profiles which can be easily selected via the LCD display and keypad. The intuitive software package enabling process parameters to be conveniently changed, managed and archived on a PC, completes the user friendly control features of this sophisticated new desktop re-flow oven.
