productronica in Munich was equally exciting
and encouraging. For one we had a record number of visitors at our booth. The
number of leads was about 50% higher than the 2009. On the other hand numerous
MID manufacturers report a good line-up of orders for 2012, which we’re very
pleased about. After all this shows: MID and the LDS method are not only gaining
technological ground but it’s also greatly cost-efficient.
The
LPKF Fusion3D 1500 unveiled at productronica creates new
opportunities for MID manufacturers. The LDS system will not only produce
smartphone antennas but also up to 40 cm antennas, as used in tablets and
laptops.
In China LPKF Laser & Electronics AG is preparing to file a
lawsuit against a local machine manufacturer for infringement of LPKF patents.
By protecting its intellectual property and defending rip-offs LPKF is also

with great interest. LPKF Fusion3D 1500 applies the same LDS technology already

Review: productronica

LPKF had a record number of visitors at productronica in Munich, which
ended in November. About 50 percent more visitors than two years ago came to see
the Garbsen-based company’s 120 m2 fair booth. The increased response reflects
the growing importance of laser systems in industry and research.
